Andrew J. Schluchter

Andrew Schluchter is a budding engineer and scientist looking to make significant progress in the bioengineering and medical device fields. Andrew served in the United States Navy as a nuclear electronics technician from 2007 to 2013, and was honorably discharged to pursue higher education at Old Dominion University in Virginia. He graduated in May, 2016 with a B.S. in electrical engineering and a B.S. in biology, and is now living in the San Diego area working at UCSD as a lab manager and research associate under Dr. Elliot McVeigh. Continuously designing and building projects outside of school in the meantime, he is looking to begin graduate studies at UCSD in 2017.
