Francisco has been awarded a Post-doctoral Fellowship

Francisco Contijoch has been awarded a Post-doctoral Fellowship through the Frontiers of Innovation Scholars Program. This award is co-mentored by Dr. McVeigh and Dr. William Auger in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine and focuses on developing imaging techniques for assessing chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension patients. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins and of the HHMI/NIBIB Interfaces Scholar Program at the University of Pennsylvania, he is a biomedical engineer with research focusing on the use of imaging for advanced assessment of cardiovascular structure, function, and disease. He recently joined the Cardiovascular Imaging Lab at University Of California, San Diego (CViL).
